My work is mostly listening.
I’m a pastor at Reality SF. I’m a spiritual director, trained through the Nuos Foundation. And I’m someone who has spent years learning how to sit with people while they meet God in their interior life. So much of what I do comes down to attention: noticing where God already is, and helping someone else notice it too.
Immanuel Prayer is close to my heart, as is the ministry of inner healing and deliverance. These aren’t techniques to me. They’re some of the most honest rooms I know, places where people stop performing and let themselves be met. I count it a strange privilege to get to be in those rooms with people.
I’m also a builder. I made Prequire.ai, and I run M-Powered Media. The new world of AI genuinely fascinates me, and I’ve decided I’m not going to pretend otherwise, or act as though a pastor shouldn’t be curious about the tools of his own moment.
For a long time I lived these as two separate lives. I even kept two of everything: two pages, two versions of myself for two different rooms. I’m done with that now. The same curiosity that draws me into someone’s inner world with God is the curiosity that draws me toward what we can build in this one. It turns out it was one life all along. I’m a person fascinated by how things are made, inside and out.
Outside of all of it, I’m a husband and a family man, and the people I come home to are the truest part of my life. They’re the ground the rest of this stands on.
Thanks for being here. If any of this resonates, I’d love to hear from you.
